We have lived in Midland, MI since 1999. We built our home in 2000 and have lived here ever since. We have spent that time creating a sanctuary for us and for the animals on our farm. We have horses, donkeys, and sheep in addition to our chickens, ducks, and geese.

Kali has a tremendous amount of experience with horses. She has worked with a professional trainer for most of her life. We have Mustangs and Appaloosas. We have adopted our mustangs right off the range from the Bureau of Land Management. We are a breeder of Kiger Mustangs and are a member of the International Alliance of Kiger Breeders. On occasion, we have young horses or trained mustangs for sale. Visit our sister site to learn more about our horses!

In addition to all the farming, which keeps us pretty busy, Kali has a passion for graphic design, and she loves creating websites and logos. If you have a need, please reach out to us and we can talk! And feel free to check out Kali's graphics design site for more information.

Our Honey Bees

Conservation and sustainable farming are very important to Firefly Fields. A project that we are working towards to contribute to conservation and sustainable farming is bee-keeping. Kali has always had a fascination with honey bees. One day soon, we will be starting an apiary. Once the bees are producing, we will be able to offer raw honey for purchase.
