Firefly Fields

Tango was bred by Winterwind Kigers in Nova Scotia, Canada. Firefly Fields imported this wonderful colt in the spring of 2025. Tango is by the branded Kiger stallion, Patron Plateado RB and out of Jessie Number Two, by Kigers Cherokee Diamond. Tango is a very lightly colored Classic Dun and is homozygous for black and dun. This means he will not throw red, but will throw dun every time. He can produce Classic (bay) Dun and Grulla. Tango embodies everything we are working to achieve in conformation, temperament, and working ability. He will be integral to our breeding program, and to the efforts of all Kiger breeders to preserving the Kiger Mustang throughout North America.
